Job Overview As a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A OTR Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll operate tractor-trailers, plan routes with GPS navigation, and handle cargo according to its equipment and safety requirements. Assignments may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Responsibilities Drive commercial trucks on OTR and other assigned delivery routes, following Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Use GPS navigation to plan and follow routes, manage delivery schedules, and communicate route or delivery issues. Load, unload, secure, and inspect freight; perform manual handling when needed and confirm cargo is properly documented. Follow applicable hazardous materials regulations when transporting hazmat or other dangerous goods. Requirements Over the Road, Flatbed, Oversized 2 Years Clean MVR Required Valid CDL Class A and ability to operate a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission. Commercial truck driving, commercial driving, truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving experience; delivery driver experience is preferred. Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations, safe driving practices, and freight loading and unloading. Ability to handle freight and perform manual loading or unloading tasks as required. Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week Work Location: On the road
