Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License A (CDL-A) Local Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer with a 53ft dryvan to deliver freight efficiently within local routes. Your expertise in manual transmission driving and route navigation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities No touch freight Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each shift. Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and confirm receipt of freight. Assist with loading or securing freight on trucks when required, ensuring proper load distribution for safe transportation. Qualifications Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record; 3 years experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance. Physical ability to perform load securement tasks and conduct vehicle inspections regularly. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
