Overview Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Local Truck Driver and become a vital part of our logistics operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. We have three shifts available, 10 hour shifts. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will drive our success forward. This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in route driving, live load and drop and hook, and manual transmission or automatic operation are valued and utilized daily. we pay a minimum of $35.00/ hour and/or 30% whichever is greater! Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on local routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and containers, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and maintain schedule integrity. Deliver freight accurately to various destinations, providing excellent customer service during pickups and drop-offs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving within local areas. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials regulations. Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, and container trucks. Ability to use GPS navigation systems effectively for route planning and real-time adjustments. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and hazard awareness during daily routes or local deliveries. Experience handling logistics cargo including freight management and truck loading/unloading procedures. always no touch.
