Beasley Tire Service Inc.We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Commercial Tire Service Dispatcher to coordinate roadside service calls, scheduled tire service, and daily technician assignments. This position serves as the primary communication link between customers, service technicians, drivers, fleet managers, and internal operations. The ideal candidate can manage multiple service calls at once, prioritize emergency breakdowns, communicate clearly, and keep technicians moving efficiently while providing customers with accurate updates and professional service. Key Responsibilities Receive and process incoming commercial tire service calls, including roadside emergencies, fleet service requests, and scheduled work. Gather accurate information from customers, including vehicle location, unit number, tire size, type of tire failure, equipment needed, and billing information. Dispatch commercial tire service technicians based on location, availability, skill level, equipment, and urgency. Prioritize emergency roadside calls while coordinating scheduled and shop-based service work. Maintain regular communication with technicians throughout each service call. Provide customers and fleet managers with service status updates and estimated technician arrival information. Enter service calls, customer information, purchase order numbers, work details, and technician notes into the company's dispatch or point-of-sale system. Verify that technicians have the correct tires, tools, service trucks, and equipment needed before dispatching when possible. Coordinate tire deliveries, inventory availability, and additional service support when required. Monitor technician workload and service call progress to minimize travel time and improve response times. Assist technicians with locating customer sites, contacting drivers, obtaining authorization, and resolving service-related issues. Ensure completed service calls contain the information required for invoicing, including tire information, labor, mileage, service charges, signatures, and purchase order numbers. Communicate professionally with national account customers, fleet customers, owner-operators, vendors, and internal team members. Escalate customer concerns, safety issues, equipment problems, or unusual service situations to management when necessary. Maintain accurate dispatch records and assist with end-of-shift handoffs for open or pending service calls. Follow company policies regarding customer service, safety, billing authorization, and documentation. Perform additional administrative and service coordination duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous dispatch, transportation, trucking, automotive, tire service, roadside assistance, or customer service experience preferred. Commercial tire or trucking industry knowledge is strongly preferred but may not be required for the right candidate. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone, text, radio, and email. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail when entering service, billing, and customer information. Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch, point-of-sale, GPS, and fleet management systems. Ability to read maps, understand service areas, and efficiently route technicians. Basic understanding of commercial trucks, trailers, tire sizes, tire positions, and roadside service terminology is preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with technicians and management.
