Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator and become a vital part of producing precision-engineered components. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. Your expertise will help drive manufacturing excellence, utilizing advanced machinery and technical skills to deliver top-tier products in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers, ensuring accurate and efficient production runs. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to determine machining specifications and tooling requirements. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for optimal performance. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy according to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot industrial equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, tooling handling, and materials management. Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes and ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing cycle. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or related equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred), CAM programming, and interpreting mechanical blueprints. Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Ability to read shop math, perform basic calculations, and utilize precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers accurately. Experience with safety standards in production environments and adherence to quality control protocols. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, tooling setup, stamping presses, press brake machines, and industrial equipment operation. Skilled in the use of CAD software such as SolidWorks for design review or modifications is a plus. Valid forklift certification or experience handling materials with forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents efficiently.
