Cleaning & Warehouse Support Associate

Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaning & Warehouse Support Associate to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while providing hands-on support to our furniture warehouse team. This position will involve a combination of cleaning, warehouse support, organizing, loading and unloading furniture, and general facility upkeep . The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical work, enjoys staying active, and is willing to help wherever needed. Basic maintenance may also be part of the role, but the primary focus will be on cleaning and supporting warehouse operations . Key Responsibilities Cleaning & General Upkeep Perform general cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, common areas, and other workspaces. Keep facilities and areas clean, organized, and presentable. Empty trash and maintain interior and exterior areas as needed. Restock cleaning and facility supplies. Report cleaning, safety, or facility concerns to management. Warehouse Support Assist with loading and unloading furniture and other materials. Safely lift, carry, move, and position furniture and other items. Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing furniture and inventory. Prepare furniture for delivery, pickup, or movement within the warehouse. Help maintain an organized warehouse and keep work areas free of clutter and safety hazards. Provide additional support to the warehouse team during busy periods or as needed. Follow proper lifting, handling, and workplace safety procedures. Basic Maintenance & Facility Support Assist with basic facility upkeep and minor maintenance tasks as needed. Help move or set up equipment, fixtures, and supplies. Report larger maintenance or repair needs to management. Assist with maintaining a safe and functional work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, warehouse, moving, custodial, maintenance, or a similar hands-on position is preferred but not required. Comfortable performing physical work and staying active throughout the workday. Ability to regularly lift and move furniture and other heavy items safely. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions, company procedures, and safety guidelines. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization. Basic knowledge of tools or general maintenance is a plus, but not required. Ability to work in a warehouse environment and varying temperatures. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull furniture and other materials. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and stand or walk for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to safely handle and move furniture and other warehouse materials.
