CLASS D DRIVER-F ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED-AIRFREIGHT

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and responsible Class D Driver with an Endorsement for Airfreight to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport airfreight shipments efficiently and securely. Your expertise in vehicle operation, adherence to safety regulations, and excellent customer service skills will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate Class D vehicles with "F" endorsement to transport airfreight shipments across designated routes, including city streets and highway systems. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure all safety and mechanical standards are met, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation), state transportation regulations, and traffic laws while driving in various weather conditions. Use of cell phone safefy and lawfully to effective communication with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and receive instructions. Navigate efficiently through urban areas, airports, and delivery sites using GPS or other navigation tools while adhering to traffic laws. Maintain accurate logs of delivery routes, vehicle inspections, and mileage records in compliance with transportation safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, addressing passenger inquiries professionally, and handling any delivery-related issues promptly. Experience Proven experience as a commercial driver, with a strong understanding of transportation safety regulations. Valid Class D driver’s license with an F endorsement required. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Familiarity with city street navigation, traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and driving in adverse weather conditions. Reliability being at work daily and on time daily. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
