Class B Hazmat Driver

Puget Sound Petroleum is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Class B CDL Driver with tanker and hazmat endorsements to deliver heating oil to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and committed to safe driving, accurate deliveries, and excellent service. Key Responsibilities; Safely operate a Class B commercial delivery truck to transport and deliver heating oil. Deliver heating oil to residential homes, commercial properties, and customer locations along assigned routes. Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and hazardous materials handling requirements. Inspect vehicles before and after each shift and report maintenance concerns. Monitor fuel levels, verify delivery quantities, and maintain accurate delivery tickets and records. Collect customer payments and complete delivery paperwork as required. Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delivery schedules, and customer needs. Provide courteous, professional customer service at every delivery. Maintain a clean, organized truck and ensure hoses and delivery equipment are handled safely. Follow spill prevention procedures and report spills, leaks, or other safety concerns immediately. Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Tanker endorsement and Hazmat endorsement, as required for the vehicle and operation. Acceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT qualification requirements. Ability to safely handle hoses, delivery equipment, and physical job demands. Strong communication, time-management, and customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety. Previous fuel delivery experience preferred, but not required if training is available.
