Carbon Direct hauls for RES Coal's metallurgical coal operations — the coal that goes into steelmaking, not power plants. We're privately owned, stable, and busy year-round. We're hiring full-time Class B Tri-Axle Drivers to haul coal, stone, and other material between active mine sites, our preparation plant, and customer locations across central Pennsylvania. Our drivers are paid by the hour — not by percentage of load or truck revenue — and everybody is home every night. IS THIS YOU? This is hauling in and out of active mine sites. It's a fit if you can say yes to most of these: ✓ Valid PA Class B CDL with no air brake restriction ✓ 3+ years CDL driving experience (our insurance requires it) ✓ Clean or acceptable MVR — and you intend to keep it that way ✓ You can handle a loaded tri-axle on haul roads, plant scales, and public highway ✓ You'd rather be paid by the hour than chase loads ✓ You're an early starter — all trucks are rolling by 5:30 AM ✓ You can communicate in English about job duties and safety procedures Turning wrenches instead of a wheel? We also run the shop that maintains this fleet — ask about our Heavy-Duty Truck Shop Mechanic posting. WHY WORK HERE Hourly pay — not a percentage of the load or of truck revenue Home daily — no over-the-road, no overnight trips Predictable routes between our own mine sites, plants, and regular customers $20 daily route completion bonus, quarterly safety bonus, and an annual company bonus Same truck every day — you learn your equipment and catch problems before they strand you Modern, well-maintained Peterbilt tri-axles serviced by our own in-house shop Privately owned and diversified — the work does not stop when the weather turns Safety-first — production never comes before safety In short — we treat drivers like professionals, not seat fillers.
