Job Description: TCI is looking for Yard/ Shuttle Class A Floater driver in San Antonio, TX. Pay: $26.00/ Hr Schedule: Monday - Friday. must be flexible to work during on-call Start time: 6:00am The Commercial Yard Driver – On-Highway is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers and containers within TCI Transportation’s yard and between nearby customer or company facilities using public roadways. This role involves a combination of on-premises yard spotting and short-distance shuttle runs, requiring operation of both yard hostlers and standard tractors. The position requires a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and proficiency in maneuvering equipment in confined spaces. Drivers are expected to perform routine inspections, adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations, and maintain clear communication with yard supervisors, dispatch, and warehouse teams. This role requires experienced commercial drivers who prefer localized, routine routes without long-haul assignments, and who thrive in an environment that values safety, precision, and teamwork. TCI Requirements: Minimum 12 months of Class A experience within the last 2 years Satisfactory Employment Verifications for the past 3 years.
