Class A Truck Driver, El Paso TX

Company Overview ACT2 Services provides asset-based pickup and delivery (PU&D) and linehaul transportation across the West Coast, tailoring logistics services to customer needs. Position Summary ACT2 Services is seeking an experienced Class A Local Driver for our El Paso, TX location . Candidates must be willing to operate a box truck when necessary as well. This position supports our daytime linehaul , local P&D operations, and relaying functions to support our West Coast Operations. Schedule · Full-Time Class A Driver · Monday – Friday (Saturdays alternating): 8AM CST to 6PM CST Pay · $23.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience Minimum Qualifications · Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A tractor-trailer driving experience · Current DOT Medical Card · Clean MVR: o No more than 2 traffic violations o No more than 1 preventable accident within the past 3 years · Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs · Forklift experience preferred · Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Perform pickup and delivery services for customer locations in El Paso, TX · Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-service-oriented attitude · Comply with all DOT and company safety regulations · Relaying West Coast trucks in Lordsburg, NM / Deming, NM · Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers · Complete all required documentation and obtain customer signatures for pickups and deliveries · Follow all company safety policies and TSA security requirements · Communicate delays, traffic issues, or mechanical problems with dispatch promptly · Report all accidents, incidents, or equipment/freight damage immediately to management · Keep assigned equipment clean, fueled, and properly maintained · Perform additional duties and overtime as assigned · Box truck P&D / hotshot within a 4 hour one way or 8 hours round trip.
