Class A LineHaul Driver

Description: Class A Line-Haul Driver Company: Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc. Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Terminal Manager / Operations Manager Position Summary Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A Line-Haul Drivers to safely and efficiently transport freight between designated terminals and customer locations. This position is primarily responsible for long-distance, terminal-to-terminal runs, often during evening or overnight hours, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations Perform line-haul freight transportation between terminals on scheduled routes Hook and drop trailers, including doubles and/or triples as required Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and required documentation (ELD, BOLs, etc.) Adhere to assigned schedules to ensure timely delivery and meet service commitments Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal staff, and operations management Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company Other duties as assigned by Manager/supervisor. Requirements: Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Minimum 1+ years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements Must meet DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening requirements Ability to operate in night and/or overnight schedules Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally Work Schedule Line-haul routes with regular, scheduled runs Evening, night, weekend, and holiday work may be required Home daily or on a predictable schedule, depending on route assignment Compensation & Benefits Overtime opportunities in accordance with company policy Benefits may include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Company-provided equipment Work Environment Primarily operating commercial motor vehicles Exposure to varying weather conditions Fast-paced, safety-focused transportation environment Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer valuing diversity and inclusion across race, gender, orientation, disability, and other protected classes.
