Our CDL Driver/Rigger position offers steady, local work, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to learn specialized heavy equipment moving and rigging. What You'll Do As a Class A CDL Driver/Rigger , you will: Operate Class A commercial trucks to transport heavy equipment and machinery. Secure loads using chains, binders, and ratchet straps. Assist with loading, unloading, and rigging heavy machinery. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed. Work alongside a team to safely complete machinery moving projects. Important: This is a hands-on CDL Driver/Rigger position consisting of approximately 30% driving and 70% rigging and equipment moving. What We're Looking For Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred. Experience with flatbed trucks, heavy equipment hauling, or load securement preferred. Knowledge of chains, binders, and ratchet straps. Forklift experience or willingness to become certified. Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety. Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and working as part of a team. Why Join Lawson Drayage?
