Class A CDL Driver – Dedicated Route (California to Arizona)

Job Summary No Experience Needed – Paid 2-Week Ride-Along Training Provided Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Driver operating dedicated routes between California and Arizona! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across long-distance over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in driving tractor-trailers, managing logistics cargo handling, and navigating GPS systems will keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial tractor-trailer units between terminals/customers in California and Arizona. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Maintain accurate driver logs via ELD in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Navigate using GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning routes that maximize productivity and minimize delays. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times, route updates, or any issues encountered during transit. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record. Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years. Valid DOT Medical Card. Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time directions. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence. Training & Onboarding Section: No CDL Experience Required: Entry-level Class A drivers are welcome to apply. Paid Onboarding Program: Hands-on training provided for your first two weeks. 1-on-1 Mentorship: You will be paired with an experienced co-driver/mentor for ride-alongs on the California-to-Arizona route to build your confidence and learn the run before driving solo.
