Class A CDL Driver & Christmas Light Installer

Light Up 30A | Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach & 30A, FL Light Up 30A is hiring a dependable Class A CDL driver to transport our flatbed equipment trailer and lift between job sites locally and help install Christmas lights while on site. This role combines local equipment hauling with hands-on installation work. You can use our company truck or your own suitable truck. Responsibilities Safely transport our trailer and lift between local job sites Load, unload, and properly secure the lift for transport Hitch, unhitch, back, and position the trailer Perform pre-trip checks and report equipment concerns Help install Christmas lights along rooflines, trees, landscaping, and other designated areas Work from ladders and lifts using proper safety procedures Assist with testing lights and organizing tools and materials Keep job sites neat and treat customers’ properties with care Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Experience towing equipment trailers and transporting heavy equipment Comfortable maneuvering and backing a truck and trailer in residential areas Knowledge of safe loading and load-securement practices Comfortable working outdoors and at heights using ladders and lifts Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Current DOT physical/medical certification DOT drug/alcohol testing. Must read and speak English to understand signs, respond to questions, and complete paperwork Experience with Christmas-light installation, construction, roofing, or boom lifts is a plus. Truck Details A company truck is available. If you’re interested in using your own truck, include its year, make, model, towing capacity, and hitch setup. Your truck must be at least a 1 ton dually suitable for our gooseneck trailer and lift.
