Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight, including specialized loads such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tanker units. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will ensure timely deliveries and excellent customer service on over-the-road (OTR) routes. Responsibilities Operate and drive a Flatbed and all terrain Forklift Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Navigate using GPS systems efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards. Manage the transportation of specialty loads such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with DOT regulations. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials regulations. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and freight management. Excellent navigation skills using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning. Spanish speaking is a Plus. Must be able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
