Class 1 Driver | Crane Operator

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Class 1 driver with Crane Operator certification to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty vehicles and cranes, contributing to construction projects and logistical operations. This role requires a thorough commitment to safety and detail in operations. Responsibilities Safely operate Class 3 trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation of materials and equipment. Skillfully operate cranes, including boom trucks and rigging equipment, to lift, move, and position heavy loads on construction sites or job locations. Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and cranes before each shift to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Coordinate with site supervisors and team members using clear communication skills to execute lifting plans and delivery schedules efficiently. Maintain accurate logs of all transportation activities, crane operations, inspections, and safety checks. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, contractors, and team members on-site. Requirements Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record. Certification as a crane operator, including experience with boom trucks or rigging equipment. Construction experience is highly preferred to understand site safety protocols and operational procedures. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting on vehicles and crane equipment. Strong communication skills for coordinating tasks clearly and efficiently on-site. Experience in rigging techniques, crane safety standards, and load calculations is desirable.
