Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of equipment and disposal bins. As a vital part of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for maintaining high safety standards, managing loads efficiently, and supporting the overall flow. Duties Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport equipment and supplies, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels Load and unload heavy equipment and/or disposal bins ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers, staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues to ensure optimal vehicle performance Support the safe operation of heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and/or forklifts when required for freight handling Requirements Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate with WHMIS Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with heavy-duty equipment transportation Experience in moving heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and forklifts and other machinery loading Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for transporting goods Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues Strong communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping Physical ability to load/unload equipment manually or with machinery as needed Join us in delivering excellence!
