Class 1 / Class 5 Owner Operator or Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class 1 / Class 5 Owner Operator or Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to move goods efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in heavy lifting, forklift operation, and excellent customer service will ensure timely deliveries and positive interactions with clients. Duties Safely operate Class 1 or Class 5 commercial trucks for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of loads for transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each journey Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules Assist with warehouse activities including moving goods within the facility, stacking, and organizing inventory Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and ensuring a positive experience Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies Qualifications Valid Class 1 or Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, moving freight, or warehouse operations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading tasks Proficiency in forklift operation is preferred; certification is a plus Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling processes Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse environments Join us in a role that combines active driving with hands-on logistics work!
