Job Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Clamp Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will operate clamp trucks and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize products within our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management and safety protocols will ensure smooth, safe, and timely movement of goods. Responsibilities Safely operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials Manage inventory by accurately picking orders using barcode scanning systems and ensuring proper storage using warehouse management systems (WMS) Conduct manual handling tasks including lifting heavy loads and stacking pallets according to safety standards in production and warehouse distribution Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation of forklifts and material handling tools Follow OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety standards to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, order picking activities, and equipment usage for efficient warehouse management Requirements Proven experience operating clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse setting Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while adhering to OSHA guidelines Strong understanding of forklift safety protocols, warehouse operations, and materials handling standards Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels Prior experience with shipping & receiving processes and order picking is highly desirable Valid forklift certification or relevant training in heavy equipment operation is required; experience with equipment repair is a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution!
