Clamp Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clamp Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating clamp trucks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and organize inventory within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely movement of goods, supporting overall warehouse operations and maintaining high safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized warehouse while developing your skills in equipment operation and inventory management. Responsibilities Safely operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Use barcode scanning systems for logistics tracking and inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy materials and stacking pallets in designated storage areas following OSHA safety protocols. Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS) and support warehouse distribution activities. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as clamp trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or forklifts in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures. Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload techniques, and manual handling safety standards. Prior warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and materials handling equipment operation. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
