Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cherry Picker Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team during the 2nd and 3rd shifts. If you thrive in a physically active role that requires precision and teamwork, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving logistics operation while advancing your skills in heavy equipment operation and warehouse management. 2nd shift 3pm-12am $20.50 3rd shift 10pm-7am $21 Monday-Friday Temp to Hire Picking with the Cherry Picker Duties Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment safely to pick, load, and unload products Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) during order picking and shipping processes Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols Conduct manual handling of materials, including heavy lifting, ensuring proper techniques to prevent injury Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipments against orders and maintaining accurate inbound/outbound logs Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure operational safety and efficiency Support warehouse distribution activities by maintaining organized storage areas and supporting inventory counts Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo’s, or similar machinery Strong understanding of warehouse operations including order picking, shipping & receiving, inventory management, and barcode scanning for logistics Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique for safety Basic math skills for measuring quantities, counting inventory items, and verifying shipments Prior experience in warehouse supervision or managing warehouse distribution is a plus but not required Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team on second or third shifts Join us as a Cherry Picker Operator if you’re eager to operate heavy equipment safely while supporting efficient warehouse operations.
