In this role, you will be responsible for operating cherry pickers and other material handling equipment to efficiently pick, load, and unload products within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your expertise will ensure accurate inventory management, safe equipment operation, and smooth warehouse operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized logistics process while maintaining high safety standards and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities Operate cherry pickers and clamp trucks efficiently in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols. Select and prepare orders by accurately picking items using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS). Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage or injury. Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and barcode scanning for logistics tracking. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal functioning of all material handling machinery. Follow safety standards in production environments, including manual handling procedures and heavy lifting techniques. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and preparing items for dispatch. Skills Proven experience operating cherry pickers and clamp Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while adhering to OSHA standards. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including order picking, load & unload procedures, shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling Experience with warehouse distribution environments and warehouse supervisor responsibilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively. Pay: $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
