Chemical Production Manager We are seeking an experienced Chemical Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a chemical processing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations while meeting production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage daily chemical production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Lead and develop production teams, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and process safety regulations. Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to optimize plant performance. Support process improvements, troubleshooting efforts, and operational excellence initiatives. Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and resource utilization to meet business objectives. Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Ensure adherence to quality standards, operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or process manufacturing operations. Previous leadership experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of process safety management, environmental compliance, and manufacturing best practices. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
