Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Perform data entry for prescriptions, patient records, and inventory management using advanced pharmacy software systems. Support medication intake processes by verifying prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, and ensuring proper documentation. Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including drug regulation standards and state and federal pharmacy laws. Provide excellent patient service by answering medication-related questions, offering medication counseling, and supporting patient care initiatives. Uphold patient confidentiality at all times while managing sensitive health information in accordance with privacy regulations. Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment, expiration date monitoring, and proper storage of medications. Requirements Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program; current licensure as required by state regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, medical terminology, and pharmacological medical terminology. Experience with pharmacy software systems and data entry processes in a fast-paced setting. Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards, including drug regulation laws and state healthcare regulations. Excellent customer service skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
