Job Title: Central Supply Clerk (Temporary, Up to 90 Days) Location: Cypress Ridge Care Center Pay Rate: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour Position Type: Temporary / Part-Time Job Summary Cypress Ridge Care Center is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Central Supply Clerk to join our team for a temporary, part-time assignment of up to 90 days. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, ordering, receiving, and distributing medical supplies and equipment throughout our facility. Your work will directly support our clinical team on a part-time schedule, ensuring they have the inventory necessary to provide high-quality care to our residents. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts of all medical, nursing, and facility supplies. Ordering & Receiving: Place supply orders based on facility needs, check incoming shipments for accuracy, and safely store inventory. Distribution: Promptly distribute requested supplies, PPE, and equipment to various nursing units and departments. Organization: Keep the central supply room clean, organized, and properly labeled according to healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Cost Tracking: Monitor expiration dates, manage rotation of stock (FIFO), and track supply usage to help manage facility expenses. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Previous experience in healthcare supply chain, medical inventory control, or central sterile processing is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency for data entry, inventory tracking, and electronic ordering. Attention to Detail: High accuracy in counting, tracking codes, and managing expiration dates. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move boxes weighing up to 30–50 lbs regularly. Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with nursing and administrative staff. Why Join Us?
