Central Supply/Medical Records Coordinator

Accela Rehab & Care Center at Manalapan 104 Pension Road, Englishtown, NJ 07726 Now Hiring – Full-Time Monday – Friday Accela Rehab & Care Center at Manalapan is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Central Supply / Medical Records employee to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, enjoys working in a healthcare environment, and can effectively manage medical records and supply-related responsibilities. Responsibilities Maintain and organize resident medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, organized, and readily accessible. Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining medical documentation. Maintain confidentiality of all resident and medical information. Monitor and maintain adequate levels of medical and nursing supplies. Receive, organize, and distribute supplies throughout the facility as needed. Track inventory and communicate supply needs to appropriate departments. Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining accurate inventory records. Check supplies for expiration dates and ensure items are properly stored. Work closely with nursing and other departments to ensure necessary supplies and documentation are available. Follow all applicable HIPAA, infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures. Perform other administrative and departmental duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in medical records, central supply, healthcare administration, or a skilled nursing facility preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Basic computer skills and ability to learn facility software and electronic medical record systems. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals. Reliable, professional, and able to work independently. Previous long-term care/SNF experience is a plus.
