Central Supply Coordinator
Total Skin & Beauty Dermatology CenterJob Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Central Supply and ensues all areas of the office maintain adequate inventory. Ensures appropriate staff coverage during business operating hours. Responsible for coordinating and managing the distribution of medical instruments, laundry, and office supplies to all locations to ensure efficient operation as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees the distribution of incoming shipments to proper departments and locations Ensures laundry is washed and folded Assists with taking soiled laundry out and restocking laundry Maintains and distributes office and medical supplies Cleans and sterilizes instruments Maintains clinical and clerical supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies Manages inventory of office samples to include medications and documents Orders lab supplies / assist couriers with daily pickups Packages, ships, and tracks orders Helps to put out lock boxes with specimens when needed and retrieves the box the next morning Prepares inventory and usage reports at specified frequency Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Ensures proper staff coverage during operating hours Conducts daily rounds throughout the office to ensure proper procedures are being followed Travels to satellite locations to ensure adherence to established protocols Performs other duties as assigned Shift Details: The primary work schedule for this role is Monday - Friday but may vary according to needs. Education and / or Experience o High School diploma or equivalent o Valid Driver License o Must be proficient using computer software and entering data Communication Skills o Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbal and written o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents pertaining to various medical, treatment, and surgical matters. Reasoning Ability o Ability to apply medical or scientific logic to situations as needed.
