CDL Truck Driver

Job Summary JK Tobin Construction Co. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dump trucks. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of construction material while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. CDL B is required and CDL A is preferred. Scheduled workday is 6:30 to 3:30 plus overtime. Our trucks are standard transmission. Clean driving record and valid CDL license required. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of trucks including dump trucks and slinger. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required by company policy. Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road. Assist in the maintenance of trucking equipment by reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of safety regulations. Experience operating various types of dump trucks such as dump trucks and slingers. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
