CDL Roll-Off Truck Driver – 2+ Years Experience Required

EXPERIENCED ROLL-OFF DRIVERS ONLY — MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF HANDS-ON ROLL-OFF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Santaguida Sanitation, a fourth-generation, family-owned waste and recycling company based in Greenwich, Connecticut, is hiring an experienced CDL Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team. We're looking for a dependable, safety-conscious professional who knows the roll-off business and can confidently operate a truck without extensive training. This is not an entry-level CDL position. Applicants must have actual experience operating roll-off trucks, delivering and retrieving dumpsters, and working safely at residential and commercial locations. What You'll Be Doing Operating a roll-off truck to deliver, exchange, and remove dumpsters. Transporting loaded containers to approved disposal facilities and transfer stations. Safely loading, securing, unloading, and positioning roll-off containers. Navigating residential driveways, commercial properties, construction sites, and tight-access locations. Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Communicating with dispatch regarding deliveries, pickups, site access, and customer requests. Maintaining a safe, professional, and efficient operation throughout the workday. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of verifiable hands-on roll-off truck operating experience — REQUIRED. Valid CDL appropriate for the assigned truck. Acceptable driving record and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements. Ability to successfully complete required drug and alcohol testing. Demonstrated experience operating roll-off equipment and handling containers safely. Ability to work independently, follow dispatch instructions, and communicate professionally. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to safety. Important: General CDL experience alone does not satisfy our roll-off experience requirement.
