CDL Roll Off Driver

Sign on bonus $1000* Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform mechanical checks on the vehicle. Responsibilities Operate roll-off trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Safely load and unload containers at designated locations, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered during routes. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Assist with routine maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed. Skills Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid driver's license. Proficiency in operating various types of trucks including roll-off trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, rear loader trucks, and tractor-trailers. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols while driving. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
