CDL Dump Truck Driver

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB YOU MUST HAVE: TRIAXLE DUMP TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE NO MANUAL RESTRICTIONS ON YOUR CDL LICENSE EXPERIENCE MOVING HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT (PAVER, ROLLER, EXCAVATOR, MINI EX, SKID STEER, BROOM, ETC) IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH AN INTERVIEW. Position Summary The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company dump trucks to transport asphalt, aggregates, concrete materials, equipment, and other construction-related materials between plants, suppliers, and job sites. This position performs daily vehicle inspections, maintains accurate documentation, and works closely with field personnel to ensure timely deliveries that support project schedules. Requirements / Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. Minimum of 2 years of commercial dump truck driving experience preferred. Construction industry experience preferred. Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe commercial driving practices. Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and pre-trip inspections. Strong communication and time management skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Job Responsibilities Safely operate company dump trucks to transport construction materials and/or equipment to and from job sites. Load, transport, and unload materials/equipment in accordance with company procedures. Follow all DOT regulations and company driving policies. Operate vehicles safely in construction zones, public roadways, and confined jobsite conditions.
