CDL DRIVER – YARD & DISTRIBUTION SUPPORT

As a Truck Driver Trainee, you will spend 10 weeks attending classes to receive your CDL license. Upon licensure, trainees will begin training with an existing Von Maur Truck Driver completing yard duty. After successfully completing yard duty training, you will develop into a full time Von Maur Yard Duty Driver. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Attend CDL classes to obtain license and maintain good attendance at CDL class Drive semi-tractor and trailer(s) Help load and unload 28 and 48 foot trailers Inspect truck daily and take truck for maintenance when needed Abide by all DOT policies, rules and regulations Keep a log of mileage, stops taken, inspections, and maintenance Work in the distribution center when yard moves are not required WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: We’re committed to helping you thrive at work and at home.
