CDL Driver / Tree Crew Groundsperson

BeaverJack Tree Service, LLC is hiring a dependable Class A or Class B CDL holder to join our professional tree-care crew. This is not a driving-only position. Driving is one part of the job; the employee will also work alongside the crew performing ground operations at residential, commercial and municipal job sites. Tree-care experience is preferred but not required. We will train a safety-minded candidate who has a strong work ethic, reliable attendance and a willingness to learn. What You’ll Do Safely operate company vehicles, which may include crane trucks, grapple trucks, bucket trucks, chip trucks, trailers and other commercial vehicles Haul equipment, logs, wood chips and job materials between the yard, job sites and disposal locations Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Safely load, unload and secure equipment and materials Operate or assist with chippers and other tree-care equipment Drag and process brush, load logs and debris, and maintain an organized work area Assist climbers, equipment operators and other crew members during pruning and tree-removal operations Perform traffic-control and job-site setup duties when needed Inspect, clean and maintain tools, trucks and equipment Follow BeaverJack safety procedures and all applicable DOT regulations Required Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License Current DOT medical certification Acceptable motor vehicle record Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and follow DOT requirements Reliable transportation to and from our Natrona Heights work location Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding ground work, including lifting 25lb+, pulling, dragging and carrying Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew Willingness to participate in BeaverJack’s DOT drug and alcohol testing consortium program Preferred Qualifications Tree-care, landscaping, construction, logging or similar outdoor work experience Experience towing trailers and hauling equipment Experience operating chippers, chainsaws, skid steers, loaders or other machinery Knowledge of job-site safety and traffic-control procedures Six months or more of commercial driving experience Why Join BeaverJack?
