CDL Driver Recruiter | Base + Commission

Position Overview Veritas Labor Force is seeking an experienced, results driven Recruiter to lead recruiting efforts for CDL drivers supporting our logistics operations. This is a hands on position for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and is motivated by measurable results. We're looking for someone who can independently manage recruiting priorities, build a strong pipeline of qualified drivers, and consistently deliver successful hires. The right candidate doesn't wait to be told what needs attention. They identify opportunities, solve problems, and take initiative to keep recruiting moving forward. This position offers a competitive base salary plus performance based commission, rewarding both successful driver starts and retention. What You'll Be Responsible For Own the full recruiting cycle for CDL driver positions across multiple locations. Drive recruiting production by consistently sourcing, screening, and securing qualified candidates. Create, manage, and optimize Indeed job postings to maximize applicant flow. Proactively engage candidates through phone calls, messages, and follow-up. Manage multiple hiring priorities while maintaining a strong, organized candidate pipeline. Prepare and send onboarding documents through DocuSign. Track recruiting activity, candidate progress, and hiring results using Excel. Work directly with Operations Managers and leadership to understand staffing needs and deliver results. Identify recruiting challenges, recommend solutions, and continuously improve recruiting processes. Take accountability for recruiting performance, communication, and follow-through. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands on recruiting experience. Proven ability to manage the full recruiting cycle independently. Experience creating and managing job postings through Indeed. Experience preparing and sending documents through DocuSign. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills. Ability to prioritize competing hiring needs and consistently meet expectations. Self motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting CDL drivers or other transportation professionals. Background in logistics, trucking, transportation, or high volume staffing. Familiarity with CDL requirements, DOT regulations, and driver qualification standards. Demonstrated success meeting recruiting goals or placement targets. Experience working directly with Operations leadership. Expected Annual Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 Base Salary: $52,000 annually. Performance Based Commission for each recruited driver who successfully begins employment.
