CROSSROADS ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES Industrial Services CDL Operator $27 – $31+/hour, based on experience | Overtime + Bonus opportunities Full-Time | Indianapolis, Indiana Crossroads Environmental Services is hiring an Industrial Services CDL Operator to join our field operations team. This position combines CDL driving with hands-on industrial field service, giving you a broader role than driving alone. Our CDL operators transport and operate company trucks and specialized equipment, support industrial cleaning projects in the field, and use their CDL capabilities to transport materials and waste from customer facilities to approved treatment and disposal facilities. Our crews work at manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, and outdoor jobsites throughout Indiana and the Midwest. Projects can include vacuum truck work, hydro blasting, dry ice blasting, equipment cleaning, tank and confined-space cleaning, pressure washing, waste removal and transportation, and other specialized industrial services. Starting pay is based on the experience, skills, licenses, and capabilities you bring to the team. What You'll Do · Safely drive CDL-required company vehicles and specialized equipment to and from customer jobsites · Transport collected waste and materials from customer facilities to approved treatment and disposal facilities · Complete hauling and disposal runs associated with industrial cleaning and vacuum truck projects · Operate and assist with vacuum trucks, hydro blasting equipment, pressure washers, dry ice blasting equipment, and other specialized industrial equipment · Perform hands-on industrial cleaning and field-service work alongside the crew · Clean industrial equipment, machinery, tanks, production areas, overhead structures, and other facility areas · Set up and break down hoses, tools, equipment, and jobsites · Complete required vehicle inspections and help maintain trucks, equipment, and tools · Follow DOT, company, customer, treatment/disposal facility, and job-specific safety requirements · Work as part of a crew to complete projects safely and efficiently · Travel to customer facilities throughout Indiana and the Midwest as required What We're Looking For · Valid Class B or Class A CDL · Tanker endorsement · Ability to operate required manual-transmission CDL vehicles · Safe and responsible driving history · Dependable and willing to work · Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work in addition to driving · Able to work safely in manufacturing and industrial environments · Willing to work overtime when projects require it · Willing to travel and work varying schedules depending on customer needs · Able to work from heights, wear required PPE, and work in different weather and facility conditions · Able to meet applicable DOT, company, customer, and jobsite screening requirements Industrial cleaning, environmental services, vacuum truck, hydro blasting, pressure washing, plant maintenance, construction, heavy equipment, waste hauling, or similar field experience is a plus and may qualify you for higher starting pay.
