CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator

CDL Driver/Operator As a CDL driver/equipment operator for Haynes Excavation, you will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, aggregate, water, and other materials using various types of commercial vehicles. Responsibilities: Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport equipment, aggregate, water, and other materials safely and efficiently. Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.) on-site as needed to support excavation and utility projects. Step outside the cab to perform physical labor, including shoveling, pipe, laying, and assisting ground crews to keep the job moving. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving, loading, and unloading. Qualifications: Must have strong work ethic with a professional focus on quality, efficiency and safety. Must have a valid Class 'A' or Class 'B' Commercial Driver's License. Class 'A' is preferred. Must have a Tanker Endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must be reliable/punctual, work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude. Haynes Excavation offers year round work, with no layoffs in the slow/winter months. Pay is based on experience.
