Responsibilities: Operate commercial vehicles to transport asphalt, materials, and equipment to and from job sites Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance Coordinate with site supervisors and crew to ensure timely material delivery Maintain accurate driving logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed on job sites Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned commercial vehicle Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — Class A or B required Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety Experience operating dump trucks, tandem axle trucks, or similar heavy equipment preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on active construction sites Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic About Us: Seven Lakes Contracting & Asphalt has built a strong reputation in the West End, NC area for delivering quality paving and contracting services with professionalism and integrity.
