CDL Driver and Material Handler

Warehouse Material Handler / Class B CDL Driver Company: Bayou Metal Supply and Manufacturing Position: Warehouse Material Handler / Delivery Driver Job Type: Full-Time Location: La Conner, WA Pay: Competitive, based on experience Bayou Metal Supply and Manufacturing is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Warehouse Material Handler / Class B CDL Driver to join our growing team. This position combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with local material deliveries. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an industrial environment, operating material-handling equipment, and safely transporting aluminum products to our customers. Warehouse & Material Handling Safely load, unload, move, and organize aluminum plates, sheets, extrusions, and other metal products. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment. Pull, stage, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, quantity, and condition. Properly secure materials to prevent damage during handling and transportation. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse operations. Class B CDL Driving Operate company trucks requiring a Class B Commercial Driver's License. Perform local and regional deliveries and pickups as scheduled. Safely load, secure, and transport aluminum materials. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, vehicle inspection reports, and applicable DOT records. Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers. Qualifications Required: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or higher. Acceptable driving record. Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and secure loads. Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environment. Ability to perform physical warehouse duties. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred: Forklift operating experience. Overhead crane experience. Experience handling aluminum, steel, or other industrial materials. Knowledge of DOT regulations and proper load securement. Previous experience with flatbed or industrial material deliveries.
