Direct-Hire CDL Driver Opportunity-Benefits start on day one of employment!!! CDL Yard Driver / Yard Jockey Location: McElhattan, PA Schedule: B & D Crews, Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts In this position, you’ll move trailers within the McElhattan industrial complex, keep the yard organized, maintain accurate trailer inventories, and perform preventive maintenance and housekeeping on the switcher truck. What You’ll Do Move and position trailers safely throughout the complex. Maintain accurate yard inventories and trailer pools. Keep the yard and switcher truck clean and organized. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and the switcher truck. Operate warehouse material-handling equipment. Follow company safety procedures and applicable GMP, FDA, and ISO guidelines. Assist with security as needed. Communicate with team members to support safe, efficient operations. What You’ll Need A commercial driver’s license. A high school diploma or equivalent. Radio-frequency (RF) skills. Ability to operate warehouse material-handling equipment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position involves extended sitting and vehicle operation during a 12-hour shift, frequent climbing into and out of jockey trucks, pushing and pulling, and repetitive hand and foot movements. Exposure to diesel fuel and fumes is part of the work environment. Participation in a daily pre-shift warm-up routine is required.
