Position Details Company: KOTZ Transport Services Position: Full-Time CDL-A Team Truck Driver Operation: FedEx Ground Linehaul Route Type: Unassigned OTR Team Runs Location: Hutchins, TX Pay Range: $1,600–$2,300 per week, depending on lane and duration out. Drivers will operate tractor-trailers on unassigned OTR routes while working with a team partner to complete assigned trips safely and efficiently. Job Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples where applicable. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and safety inspections. Handle drop-and-hook operations with no-touch freight. Complete and verify required transportation documents and reports. Maintain accurate daily driving logs. Follow dispatch instructions and communicate updates regarding delays, arrivals, and equipment issues. Comply with applicable transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Perform other job-related duties as required. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A). Ability to operate a manual-transmission truck; no manual restriction. At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years . Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), with no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years. Ability to pass a background check. Doubles/Triples endorsement or willingness to obtain it. Ability to follow instructions and complete required training. Must complete the required background check, MVR screening, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and drug test.
