Responsibilities: Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional over-the-road (OTR) routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Deliver freight to various locations within assigned regions, adhering to delivery schedules. Manage paperwork accurately, including delivery receipts and logs. Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route updates or issues. Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operations. Handle loading and unloading of cargo as required. Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Adhere to hours-of-service regulations to ensure safe driving practices. Skills: Minimum of two years of CDL Class A experience required. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly in over-the-road (OTR) routes. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and traffic laws related to trucking. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and clients. Dependability and a strong work ethic with a focus on safety and professionalism.
