We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused delivery driver to join our transportation and distribution team. Unlike traditional long-haul trucking positions, this opportunity offers shorter regional routes, a consistent four-day workweek, and three days off each week, including weekends. Position Overview As a CDL Class A Delivery Driver, you will operate a 36-foot delivery truck, transport food products to retail customers, and assist with loading, unloading, and organizing shipments. This is an active, hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and contributing to a small, supportive team. Key Responsibilities Operate a commercial delivery truck safely and professionally throughout Oregon, Washington, and the surrounding Pacific Northwest. Complete scheduled deliveries to grocery stores and other retail customers. Load, secure, transport, and unload palletized food products. Assist with preparing shipments, organizing freight, and building pallets when necessary. Pick up merchandise from designated warehouse and distribution locations. Verify delivery quantities and ensure products reach customers in good condition. Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle. Work Schedule & Routes We believe professional drivers deserve predictable schedules and personal time. Four-day workweek: Work four days and enjoy three days off. Weekends off: Your regular days off always include the weekend. Short regional routes: Most trips are completed within one or two days. Local deliveries: Regular service areas include Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA. Occasional overnight travel: One scheduled overnight route during the middle of the week, typically Wednesday through Thursday. Hotel accommodations provided: The company covers hotel expenses for overnight deliveries. No sleeping in the truck. Required Qualifications Current, valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Clean and acceptable motor vehicle driving record. Ability to safely handle freight and perform physically demanding delivery tasks. Comfortable loading and unloading products at multiple customer locations. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Dependable attendance and a professional attitude. Willingness to complete scheduled overnight regional trips. Ability to work independently and collaborate with warehouse and delivery personnel.
