CDL B Roll-Off Driver

About the role Ms. Trash Site Services is hiring a full-time CDL-B roll-off driver, operating out of our location in Moncks Corner, SC. We are looking for someone with experience that will run delivery, swap, and pickup, and will represent our company on every job site. You will work directly with ownership, not through layers of management, and help shape how we run our routes as we expand our fleet. We are a family-owned and operated dumpster rental company in the Charleston Tri-County area. We serve contractors, commercial, and municipal job sites across Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston Counties. What you'll do Safely operate a tandem-axle roll-off truck to deliver, swap, and pick up 20- and 30-yard dumpsters across the Charleston Tri-County area. Haul loaded containers to the landfill and other approved disposal sites, and make sure every load is tarped and secured. Place containers carefully on job sites and confirm placement with the customer. Do pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, keep DVIRs complete, and report mechanical issues right away. Inspect container contents for prohibited items and flag overweight or overfilled loads. Log deliveries, pickups, weight tickets, and photos in our dispatch app. Keep the truck and containers clean, and do basic upkeep such as greasing, fluid checks, and tarp and cable care. Treat every contractor and site manager as a repeat customer: be on time, communicate delays, and keep job sites tidy. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety rules. Requirements Valid Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement, with no air brake restriction and acceptable driving record At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience; at least 1 year on a roll-off truck strongly preferred Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check At least 21 years old Able to work outdoors in all weather, climb in and out of the cab often, and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Experience with a manual transmission and cable or hook-lift roll-off systems Knowledge of Charleston-area roads, job sites, and landfill procedures Comfortable using a smartphone app for routes, photos, and tickets Pay, schedule and benefits Pay: $24 to $30 per hour, based on experience, with overtime at time-and-a-half over 40 hours Sign-on bonus: dependent on experience Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday about 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., occasional Saturday routes between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. as needed Home daily: local routes only, no overnights Benefits: health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plan Other: a well-maintained truck; direct access to ownership and room to grow into a lead driver role as the fleet grows How to apply Send your resume, a copy of your CDL, and your current MVR to careers@mstrash.com.
