CDL A Truck Driver with Flatbed/Crane/Winch Experience

Alsay Inc. is a leader in commercial water well drilling and services. We have an immediate opening for a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Truck Driver WITH FLATBED, WINCH and CRANE EXPEREIENCE. This is a full-time, regular position with overtime regularly required based in Northwest Houston. The pay is based on an HOURLY wage. Job Duties · Drive tractor/trailer rigs, flatbeds, general purpose trucks and hydraulic crane trucks. · Operate winches and hydraulic cranes to rig up and rig down jobsites. · Diagnose some mechanical, electrical or other breakdown or failure to company trucks. · Maintain equipment, including helping to repair equipment and keeping equipment clean. · Operate forklifts and hydraulic cranes to load or unload equipment and supplies. · Secure loads safely and efficiently before transporting. · Apply knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA rules and regulations. Accountabilities · Knowledge, understanding, and application of the safety practices related to this position. · Knowledge and understanding of the proper handling of hazardous material. · Completion of all paper work and records in an accurate and timely manner. · Knowledge and understanding of DOT, EPA and OSHA rules and regulations. · Professional representation of the company and the water well industry. · Maintenance of an adequate amount of hand tools to accomplish daily work. · Experience in construction/off road trucking desired. Job Specifications Eligibility Requirements: ·Applicants must submit to a DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check. · Must be able to read and write and have the mental capacity to complete required paperwork. · Must possess a valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver License PREFERABLY with Hazardous Materials and Tank Vehicle Endorsements. · Must have at least 5 years of truck driving experience. (School may account for part, but not all of this experience.) Winch truck and hydraulic crane (boom truck) operating experience required.. · Must have working knowledge of most of the systems located on a truck or semi-trailer. · Must be able to read road signs. · Must be able to troubleshoot and analyze some of the component parts and systems on the truck or truck tractor. · Must have truck driving, hydraulic crane, winch and forklift operating skills. · Must have training and working knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA rules and regulations. · Must be willing to participate in training classes that are given or requested by the company. · Must be willing to work different shifts and jobsites when needed to keep the company running in an efficient operating manner. · Must be willing to maintain assigned equipment clean, neat and orderly. May be required to sweep or mop floors, clean equipment and tools, empty trash, pick up debris on the property, etc. · Must be willing to take tests to provide management with information to be used for management and classification.
