CDL A Truck Driver - FedEx Ground - Daytime L/H - Dedicated Route

Overview Independent Contractor with FedEx Ground seeking a professional CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. This is a daytime L/H position that is home daily. This position involves operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers an opportunity to work with a reputable logistics provider dedicated to timely deliveries and operational excellence. This position will include working Saturday through Wednesday with Thursday and Friday off. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across assigned routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operations. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward customer service. This position provides an essential role within our logistics operations by ensuring the safe, timely delivery of freight across various routes while maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency.
