Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Concord, NC. The CDL A Truck Driver will safely operate company trucks to haul materials such as dirt, gravel, and construction supplies to and from job sites. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and company safety guidelines, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The driver will coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors, follow assigned routes and schedules, and assist with loading and unloading as needed. The role also involves keeping the vehicle clean, reporting maintenance needs promptly, and representing the company professionally with customers and the public. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification. Proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably in construction, grading, or material hauling environments. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and basic vehicle inspection procedures. Ability to read and follow delivery tickets, job site directions, and basic maps or GPS instructions. Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks, secure loads, and assist with loading/unloading when required. Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, crew members, and customers. Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures, and job site rules at all times. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior local route or construction hauling experience is a plus.
