Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Edinburg, TX. The driver will operate commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently, following all federal, state, and local regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and documenting loads, maintaining accurate logs and delivery records, and communicating with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and any issues on the road. The role involves adhering to company safety policies, providing professional customer service at pick-up and delivery locations, and helping ensure equipment cleanliness and basic maintenance reporting. Drivers may be assigned regional or long-haul routes depending on business needs. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, with familiarity with DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements. Demonstrated experience operating tractor-trailers or similar commercial vehicles, including backing, maneuvering, and handling in various weather and traffic conditions. Strong focus on safety, including conducting thorough vehicle inspections, proper load securement, and adherence to company and regulatory safety standards. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members. Ability to read and follow route plans, use navigation tools, and complete required paperwork or electronic logs accurately and on time. Reliability and time management skills to meet delivery schedules, with the ability to work flexible hours, weekends, or holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in freight transportation or logistics is beneficial. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including sitting for extended periods, climbing in and out of the truck, and handling freight within safety guidelines.
