CDL A Semi -Trailer Tech

Job Description: SEMI TRAILER MECHANIC WORK ON SEMI TRAILERS NO DIESEL ENGINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED CDL A PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE WORKING ON SEMI- TRAILERS WH Trucking is looking for a Trailer Mechanic who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of semi-trailers. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of issues, including electrical, mechanical, and structural problems. Duties include, but are not limited to: Diagnose issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers Perform preventative maintenance on trailers Replace parts Document repairs Perform other duties as assigned by Fleet Manager Move trailers through out the yard Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED certificate Knowledge of heavy equipment and transportation Must be able to operate a fork lift Experience with various hand tools Strong mechanical aptitude Valid driver's license CDL (Class A) holder preferred Must be able to lift 100 lbs Wage Range: 23 - 27 per hour General Description of Benefits: WH Trucking offers the following benefits: 401(k) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance Pay is negotiable and based on experience Paid time off Employee Assistance Program Yearly boot allowance and uniforms provided Tools provided
