CDL-A Regional Driver

Pay: $1,475 to $1,745 per week | Freight: Truckload and multi-stop/LTL temperature-controlled freight Home Time: Weekly, 34-hour reset | Location: Rockford, IL 61101 Home weekly for a 34-hour reset Primary routes through the Midwest and east of I-35 Average 2,087 miles; top 50% average 2,697 miles 2021-2024 Peterbilt 579 Ultraloft trucks CDL-A truck drivers run primarily through the Midwest and east of I-35 with weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. Routes may occasionally extend outside the primary running area, with freight moving throughout all 48 states. Drivers haul truckload and multi-stop/LTL temperature-controlled freight. The mix of freight and established running area provides drivers with steady mileage opportunities throughout the week. NYC and the five boroughs are not forced dispatch, so drivers are not required to take loads into those areas. The Perks Pay is $1,475 to $1,745 per week. Per-diem and a weekly guarantee are also offered, providing drivers with additional consistency as they build miles throughout the week. Drivers average 2,087 miles Top 50% of drivers average 2,697 miles Major medical benefits 401(k) and vacation time Fleet Drivers operate primarily 2021-2024 Peterbilt 579 Ultralofts, along with a limited number of Kenworth T680s. Assigned equipment includes features designed to make time on the road more comfortable and convenient. APUs - primarily Thermo King, with some Carrier units Refrigerators and power inverters Governed at 70 mph on cruise and pedal Outward-facing cameras only The 2021-2024 trucks are equipped with PACCAR motors. CDL-A Truck Driver Orientation Orientation is held in De Pere, WI, for three days, with classes beginning Mondays and Wednesdays. $125 per day during orientation Transportation, hotel, and lunch provided ELD and Geotab training Road test and functional assessment Albany Trucking is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
